A quick look at a selection of latex celebrity styles chosen for various occasions in the first months of 2024.

As you know, stars and celebrities like to choose latex styles for themselves on the occasion of various events, parties, galas, movie premieres and more. Let’s take a look at some selected creations that took place in the first weeks of 2024.

Stefanie Martini

The British actress in February appeared at the BAFTA Raising Star Party event (an event designed for rising film stars held in conjunction with the BAFTAs) in a long black gown designed by Atsuko Kudo Latex. Stefanie herself speaks of the chosen gown in very positive terms: “I think it’s my favorite outfit I’ve ever worn.” Hardly surprising. The dress, despite its seemingly simple cut and black color, looked extremely elegant!

Alessandra Ambrosio

The Grammy Awards are annual awards presented by The Recordings Academy for achievements in the recording industry. This year’s gala was held in early February. It was attended by Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, who for the occasion chose the Avellano gown from the spring/summer 2024 collection. It is a long gown with a platinum-colored train and a distinctive texture reminiscent of snake skin. A gown with such a pattern, color and with such a long train gliding down the red carpet was eye-catching.

Emerald Fennell

We are staying for the BAFTA 2024 gala and related side events. One such gala preceding the main event featured Emerald Fennell. She wrote the screenplay and directed the film Saltburn, which received as many as four nominations for this year’s award. Emerald’s jacket – a black latex jacket designed by Atsuko Kudo Latex – caught the attention. This styling is another example of the elegance of black latex.

Charli Howard

February is the month in which London Fashion Week, one of the most important events in the fashion world, takes place every year. Our attention this time was caught by Charli Howard, an English model. We saw her in the same gown she wore with Stefanie Martini at BAFTA 2024. This is not the first time Charli has chosen just Atsuko Kudo Latex, so probably her interest in latex is not insignificant and we will see her in latex many more times in the future!

Georgiana Huddart

We’re staying on London fashion weeek, because it’s also necessary to pay attention to one more person – Georgiana Huddart. She is the co-founder of the clothing brand Hunza G, which today is best known for its beachwear made of the brand’s signature material. Her styling featured a latex top also from Atsuko Kudo Latex. It should be said, however, that this is not the first time a businesswoman has chosen latex. It’s worth going back at least as far as June 2023, when the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party took place – an annual event held at the Serpentine art gallery in Kensington Gardens that unites celebrities from the world of music, art and fashion. Georgiana wore a long latex gown invariably from Atsuko Kudo Latex, and as she confessed on Instagram: ” Wow I loved wearing you latex dress, even though I couldn’t walk or go to the loo – 100% worth it”.

Chelsea Lazkani & Chrishell Stause

It’s time to move on to the US, where the People’s Choice Awards gala – awards given for entertainment industry activities – was held in February. On the so-called red carpet (because this one was actually green) was the cast of “Selling Sunset,” a series produced for Netflix. It tells the story of real estate agents from the Oppenheim Group, selling luxury properties in Los Angeles. As many as two of the series’ actresses chose latex for the occasion! Chelsea Lazkani appeared in a latex gown from Venus & Violet. The gown is black latex, with a long slit exposing the leg and a distinctive large neckline. The whole look is completed with white latex accessories in the form of sleeves and a collar. Chrishell Stause, on the other hand, chose an elegant Atsuko Kudo Latex gown in a deep ruby color. The long train and tulip-like pattern made a great impression.

AJ Odudu

We all already know that AJ Odudu – a British TV presenter – likes to dress latex for various occasions. We’ve written before, for example, about her creation for Red Nose Day 2023. This time AJ led the British Celebrity Big Brother in a latex sleeveless jumpsuit. It’s a familiar cut of jumpsuit with AJ. Previously, she appeared at least in a blue jumpsuit, and this time a cherry (plum) color was added to the collection. The program aired on March 4.

Saweetie

Saweetie is an American rapper who released her new single titled “Richtivities” in January. With its title, the track refers to richness and luxury. To mark the occasion, the artist shared a post on social media, in which a latex dress seems to play the main symbol referring precisely to the aforementioned luxury. The whole look is complemented by champagne, jewelry, stilettos and a beautiful view in the background. The dress is designed by the American brand Vex Clothing.

Rose Villain

Rose Villain is an Italian singer, rapper and artist. This year we can also see her as a juror in Netflix’s music reality show “Rhythm + Flow: Italy,” also known as “Nuova Scena.” She plays this role along with other Italian rappers: Fabri Fibra and Geolier. In one episode, Rose appeared in a latex catsuit and latex corset. It was this kind of outfit that accompanied her during the evaluation of music videos prepared by the program’s participants. Latex plays the main role here, as Rose’s outfit doesn’t include much else – only simple black heels and small jewelry. The suit is very impressive, as the combination of black and transparent latex creating such patterns requires a lot of intricate work by the creator. The native Italian brand VinNoir is responsible for the latex, which has many designs in its collection with various patterns and combinations of different colored latex.

Kylie Jenner

American model Kylie Jenner took her first steps in the alcohol industry this March. A new alcoholic beverage called “Sprinter” is entering the US market. For an event promoting her new business, the model chose a black latex dress. On the one hand, this is a very daring dress, due to the large neckline, and on the other hand it is quite a classic proposal. A knee-length black latex dress is a styling that always defends itself. The “wow” effect was also made by the hairstyle, which with its volume and controlled chaos attracted a lot of attention. In Kylie’s outfit, however, it was the latex that played the main role, as it emphasized her figure and drew the eye with its deep shine.
