A quick look at the red carpet of the London premiere of the Barbie movie.

The Barbie movie is a long-awaited production that premiered on July 21, 2023 at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square cinema. The event, of course, was more than just the first screening of the film, attended by actors, production and a wide variety of celebrities. It’s also a major event in the city, as could be seen from the many pink elements in the city’s spaces.

It is therefore an occasion for which celebrities choose their outfits carefully. In this case with lots of pink. Did something latex hit the spot? Of course! A long latex dress from Atsuko Kudo was chosen by Munroe Bergdorf, an English model, writer and transgender activist. By the way, this is not the first time Munroe has chosen just latex creations. Very happy to see such choices!

Participating in the launch was English blogger Sammi Jefcoate. She primarily shares fashion and beauty content on her social media. For the occasion, she chose a pink dress – like Munroe – from Atsuko Kudo. The minimalist headdress that matches the dress is also an interesting element.

The latex dress could also be seen at GK Barry. It’s actually Nottingham-based Grace Keeling best known for TikTok. The dress is from the collection of English designer Elissa Poppy.

Another tiktoker who appeared at the premiere in latex is Lola Clark. She is a seventeen-year-old girl originally from England. She became popular through her scoobiezoobie channel on TikToku. Lola chose a pink and black jumpsuit from Skin Two (formerly Honour).

You have to admit that the latex blended in perfectly with the pink barbiecore trend! 🙂
