Blake Lively impresses with latex vintage style

Famous American actress Blake Lively arrived at the world premiere of the film “Another Simple Favor” at this year's SXSW festival.

The South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) is an annual festival held in mid-March in Austin, Texas. This year’s opening night film premiere was dedicated to the world premiere of Another Simple Favor. One of the lead actresses is popular actress Blake Lively.

Blake rose to fame with the acclaimed TV series Gossip Girl, which was filmed from 2007 to 2012, and she played one of the lead roles, playing a teenage girl from the wealthy circles of New York’s Upper East Side. She was a character of particular interest to the media and the titular Gossip Girl. Blake Lively is also attracting attention in the real world, and now ours as well. The world premiere of the film “Another Simple Favor” is another opportunity to show off in front of the lenses. This time the star put on latex. See for yourself!

Lively’s creation came from the hand of New York designer Renee Masoomian and consists of several elements: an overbust corset, a maxi skirt, a long coat and high heels. The whole is in a vintage style reminiscent of the 1950s. First of all, the overbust corset creates and accentuates the waist and creates a cleavage line. It has classic fastenings at the front and contrasting black binding at the back. With the rest, the black color is present in many details. The second important element is a long maxi skirt in a matching shade. At the bottom of it you will find lace trim in floral motifs in black latex. To complete the look, Blake wore a long, semitransparent short-sleeved coat, which was very airy and delicate. This coat the actress wore from the very beginning, but being in front of the cameras she spectacularly took it off presenting the rest of the outfit. We have to admit that Blake Lively’s creation was very impressive. Latex vintage-style creation along with a corset is something timeless in a modern way. But that’s not all! Film costume designer Renée Ehrlich Kalfus has confirmed that the wedding dress of the character played by Lively (Emily Nelson) will also be made by Masoomian, and therefore also latex. You will be able to find out the details in May, as the film is scheduled to premiere on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform on May 1. We can’t wait!
